We are now able to measure and track valuable indicators of your health like your visceral fat, body water distribution segmental readings (an indicator of inflammation in specific areas) and phase angle values (the integrity of your cell walls and a HUGE indicator of health.). A current is sent through the body which measures the different resistance of the make-up of the body. For example, body fat compared to body water (such as blood) has a much weaker conductivity, which equals relatively high impedance.
